DIRECTIONS TO THE RACE SITE

All Saturday events will take place near Christians United Church in Historic Fort Harrison which is located one block north of 56th Street on Otis Avenue between Lawton Loop East Drive and Lawton Loop West Drive. The address of Christians United Church is 8755 E. Otis Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46216. All RACE DAY event parking is FREE and will be in the enormous Major General Emmett J. Bean Center Parking Lot which is on the Southwest Corner of 56th Street and Post Road as well as in other parking areas within a 7 or 8 block walk of the race site. From the Bean Center Parking Lot, proceed to walk North, crossing 56th Street, to get to the race site.

Arriving from the North - - From I-465 on the East side of Indianapolis, take the East 56th Street Exit (Exit 40). Proceed East on 56th Street 1.5 miles to the Herbert Lord Road traffic light. Turn right (south) at the traffic light and then left into the Bean Center Parking Lot. This way will be very crowded on race morning! Plan your travel to ARRIVE at the race site by 7:15am!! PLEASE DO NOT PLAN TO ARRIVE LATER as traffic will be increasingly heavy the later you arrive.

Arriving from the South - From I-465 on the East side of Indianapolis, take the East Pendleton Pike Exit (Exit 42). Proceed East on Pendleton Pike 2 miles to Post Road. Turn left (north) onto Post Road then proceed ¼ mile, crossing the Railroad Tracks, turn left (west) onto Hess Road then right into the Bean Center Parking Lot.

Arriving from the East - From I-70 entering into the East side of Indianapolis, take the Post Road Exit (Exit 91). Proceed North on Post Road 3.0 miles to Pendleton Pike. Proceed North on Post Road straight through the Pendleton Pike intersection, continue ¼ mile, crossing the Railroad Tracks, turn left (west) onto Hess Road then right into the Bean Center Parking Lot.

We will be using additional parking lots around the race site to help maintain the flow of incoming traffic. Please follow the direction of the Police Officers as they will be directing you to the parking lots that have the quickest traffic flows.

DIRECTIONS TO FRIDAY PACKET PICKUP

Friday Packet Pickup is located at the Benjamin Harrison YMCA at 5736 Lee Road, Indianapolis, IN 46216.

Follow all directions to the race site above then proceed as follows:

If arriving on 56th Street: Continue East on 56th Street 1 mile past Herbert Lord Drive to the traffic light at Lee Road. Turn left on Lee Road and travel for ¼ mile. The YMCA is on your left.

If arriving on Post Road: Continue North on Post Road ¼ mile past Hess to the traffic light at 56th Street. Turn right on 56th Street and proceed ½ mile to the traffic light at Lee Road. Turn left on Lee Road and travel for ¼ mile. The YMCA is on your left.
